The Power
Relevant.

Have you ever had that moment, that moment where you realize you’re that person; the person who everyone over looks because you don’t quite fit any stereotype. Whether it be because you’re too skinny; too fat, too tall; too short, too straight edge; too rebellious.
You find yourself being that one friend that if you disappeared, no one would notice.
You find yourself just trying to find one sliver of hope, one sliver of confidence to stand up, and simply speak your mind.
You often find yourself being spoken over, being shut down, just one too many times.
You feel like your opinion, your presence, your simple yet complex existence feels like a burden on the people you try to converse with.
You keep trying, hoping, believing it’s all just a simple dream that you can wake up from, but day after day you begin to realize that’s not going to happen.
But you never give up. For only one reason; But that one reason is always different, you always manage to give yourself at least one reason to keep fighting, because in the end you know it will all pay off, no matter how hard you fall, you can always manage to pick yourself up, look ahead and try again, even if you know it’ll lead straight to falling again, maybe even falling further; but you know in the end you will stop falling, you won’t lower yourself, but workout how to stay up. I know that no one will take the time to read this long post on a small blog, but if you do, I thank you, helping give me one sliver of hope.
